BRIT Awards 2013 Hairstyles

Was it all about showing off these oh-so-sexy black dresses or what?!! Huh? Ladies, I’m talking about the 2013 BRIT Awards. Didn’t you watch it? Oh my god, it seems that you really didn’t! Okay, okay, it isn’t a big deal at all. Yeah, it isn’t, as you can know the hairstyles worn by your beloved female stars at this awards ceremony today. A nice surprise, isn’t it? Definitely, it is! Okay, let me tell you that there is another surprise that we’re presenting to you today, but I’m not going to reveal it now. Pretties, let’s stop this long conversation and start doing what we came to do!!

Do you remember the oh-so-sexy black dresses that I mentioned at the beginnings? Yup? Okay, let me tell you that both of the beautiful singers Taylor Swift and Jessie J were among the stars who wore them. What? Actually, this is not what I wanted to say at all. What I wanted to say is that both singers truly rocked the BRITs red carpet with their spectacular and sultry straight flowing hair. For your info, Swift and Jessie weren’t the only ones who opted for a down do, there were also Delilah, Corinne Bailey Rae, Berenice Marlohe, Gemma Arterton and others who sported curly and wavy flowing locks.

Of course, there were ……. besides these sultry and spectacular down dos on the red carpet of the BRIT awards 2013. Okay, would you please fill in the spaces? Ladies, it doesn’t need that too much thinking. Simply, besides down dos, there were updos. Exactly, like usual!! Anyways, let me tell you who updo’ed their hair locks and in which way. A stylish topknot, an elegant braided bun, and a glamorous retro faux bob are the styles of updos worn by the singers Ashley Roberts, Rita Ora and Katherine Jenkins, respectively, at this year’s BRITs. Oops, I forgot to mention that the British singer Paloma Faith opted for a curly updo that looked – you know it looked unexpected like usual!

Also, there were other hairstyles seen at this musical awards event, which are braids and ponytails. Concerning the first ones, you need to know that they were worn by Preeya Kalidas and Lana Del Rey. Honestly, there is another thing that you need to know about these braids, which is that they looked more than fabulous, stunning and eye catching – at least that’s how I see them. On the other hand, concerning the latter ones, you need to know that the English singer and actress Denise van Outen was one of the celebrities who turned all heads with their creative and eye catching ponytail hairdos. Wait a second! Actually, Denise was the only one who went for a ponytail!!

So far, we’ve shown off the hairstyles worn by the female stars whose hair is either long or medium, right? So what about the ones whose hair is short?! Okay, do you mean Emeli Sande, Jaime Winstone and Laura Mvula? If so, you need to know that Sande rocked a fashionable quiff undercut while Mvula did the same thing with a sexy buzz cut. And let’s not forget about Winstone who wore a straight pixie cut. Now, allow me to tell you goodbyes, my precious readers, and see you soon. What? You are asking about the surprise that I said I’d reveal at the end? Pretties, what is better than getting inspired by the hairstyles and dresses worn at the 2013 BRIT awards? Nothing, I guess!!
