The fashion types of headbands are many as made in different designs and from many types of fabrics. The headbands are known as a fashion style for women and girls, but for the newborn babies they are essential either to give a nice look as accessories, or to hold up the hair away from the eyes. The other use of newborn headbands can be abbreviated in one ceremony; the christening ceremony. Christening headbands are made of different fabrics such as satin, silk, lace and tulle. The fabrics can be used alone in the one piece, or two or more fabrics can be mixed with the required embroidery to give the desired look. The bands come in many colors such as the white, the off-white, the antique white or the ivory, and sometimes the golden yellow color which usually come with silk fabrics. Lace and tulle are used to decorate the headbands and the handmade embroidery may be made within the bands to give a nicer and more original look.
