Your skin needs special weekly cleaning especially during the summer to remove any discoloration resulting from dead skin cells. This will help your skin become more clear and soft and removes the extra oil on the skin that affects your makeup negatively and makes it stay for lesser time.
Among the major benefits of cleaning your skin is removing blackheads which form around the nose and chin especially in the case of oily skin.
The following are some tips for cleaning your face:
1- Treat your skin with steam. The way it is done may differ from one person to the other. Thus, oily skin can be directly exposed to steam for five minutes. However, dry and normal skin should be exposed to water steam for only three minutes. It is also preferable to use moisturizing cream prior to getting exposed to the steam to avoid more dryness in the case of dry or normal skin.
2- Then you clean your face with a small piece of medical cotton. You press the cotton all over your face until you clean all the extra oil. You can also use a special acne needle to pick the pimples and blackheads but remember to sterilize the needle with alcohol after working with each pimple.
3- You can make a Moroccan clay mask for deeper cleansing by dissolving the clay in some rose water. Then you add a tablespoon of honey to make its texture creamier. This is spread all over the face and neck, except for the eyes. After a while you rub it off and rinse your face.
4- Now it is time for nourishment. We are going to make a nourishing and anti-wrinkles creamy mask. Bring 4 tablespoons of milk, 2 tablespoons of honey, one whole egg and five drops of almond oil.
Warm the oil and milk and mix them with the beaten eggs and then add the oil. Stir well and apply to the skin. Leave it on the skin for 15 minutes then rinse your face with warm water. This mask is suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin. You can also use it daily in the case of dry skin lacking nourishment. It also has a strong wrinkle fighting effect. You might also like to use beeswax (after being melted over hot steam) for extra smoothness.
