If your wedding day is looming closer and you still haven’t set your heart on that perfect wedding dress, then we think your search may now be over. How do we know? Because we have just discovered one of the most breath-taking collections of bridal gowns currently on show this year. It isn’t so much a case of being spoilt for choice, but with the David Tutera for Mon Cherie Fall 2013 collection, it really is a case of wondering where you even start to choose. There is no question that on your big day you want to look your best, and there is no doubt that David Tutera is a master in the design field. Seldom have we seen a collection of dresses where the designer seems to have captured the essence of femininity and created what really are stunning works of art, none of which will fail to make you feel beautiful, sexy and unique on your special day.
The range of 22 dresses clearly demonstrates David Tutera understands that not every woman’s body is the same, and therefore some styles are more suited to the fuller figure, while others will look better on those with a slight frame. For example, David has created a gorgeous, figure-hugging, mermaid dress which accentuates curves that Jessica Rabbit would be envious of. The bright white satin dress ‘Violetta’ has a hand-beaded corded lace appliqué bodice, the waistline highlighted by a coffee-colored ribbon adorned with a hand-beaded motif, tied beautifully at the back and falling down over the chapel-length train. The opposite of this style is probably the sumptuous and flowing ‘Valencia’, a sleeveless, but not strapless, A-line point d’esprit and organza wedding dress. Both front and back have plunging V- necklines, while the naturally embodied waistband incorporates three dimensional flowers with ornate beading. The dress flows beautifully towards the chapel length train, the skirt adorned with delicate lace appliqués, and is available in three differing colors – ivory/stone, ivory or white.
