Erin Fetherston Pre-Fall 2012 Collection

Sometimes the fashion world and the international literature can be overlapped. The pre-fall collection of Erin Fetherston fashion house was a sufficient proof on that idea. The creative designer seemed inspired with Henrik Ibsen’s classic play A Doll’s House. That’s why; the girl in the show was like Nora Helmer, the heroine of the play, yet with a modern effect. The designs were described to be feminine and soft and at the same time elegant and fashionable. At the end of the show, the designer promised that there will be more and more in the fall season. Anyhow, the creative collection was presented on NEW YORK, December 14, 2011. The collection was like a great revolution of colors, fabrics, prints and cuts to the costumers. The color palette included; pink, cream, and black with pops of aqua shades. At the same time, the used fabrics were all about lace, chiffon, Lurex, knit and fringes. The prints were also Art Deco roses or ornamental necklines. The cuts were dresses, trousers and skirts. Dresses were sleeveless, 3/4 sleeved, full sleeved, a-line shaped, drape, v-neckline, with fitted waist, backless, flared, with sweetheart neckline and of short length. Trousers were slim and to floor length. Skirts also were straight and short. Eventually, the designer employed only high heeled shoes as accessories.
