Michael Van Der Ham Spring/Summer 2012 Ready-to-Wear Collection

For this spring and summer collection, Michael Van Der Ham targeted that type of women depicted by the great photographer Joseph Szabo. That’s why; the collection converted the dreams and disturbance of America into fabrics. The show was also fascinating with the choice of colors and prints. Anyhow, it was released on LONDON, September 19, 2011. The whole collection was like a portrait in an art gallery throughout the use of prints, colors, fabrics and cuts. Prints were just an artistic collage. The color palette included; white, black, coral, turquoise, sky blue, aquamarine and pink. Moreover, the used fabrics were all about cotton, satin, silk and crepe de chine. The presented cuts were trousers, dresses and skirts. Trousers were tight pants with above the knee length. Dresses were multi-layered, fluid, soft, straight or a-line shaped with either floor or above knee length. Skirts were a-line shaped with knee of floor length. Eventually, the designer employed belts and sandals as accessories.
