I can see clearly now… Label each box to easily identify contents
Location, Location, Location… Place frequently used items near the door
Keep it light… Pack boxes to weigh less than 50 pounds

How to pack:

1- Bedding, Clothing, Curtains, Drapes & Linens

2- Dishes and Glassware

• Place a layer of packing inside the bottom and top of the cartons containing glassware

• All glass items should be individually wrapped

• Nest cups and bowls

• Stand plates, saucers and platters on edge

• Wrapped glasses should be placed toward the top of the carton

3- Appliances

• Thoroughly clean and dry all appliances

• Store refrigerators/freezers slightly open

4- Tools, Bicycles, and other metal items

• Clean and wipe metal tools with a rag containing machine oil to retard rust

• Clean, lightly oil and tie into bundles all long-handed tools such as rakes, shovels and hoes

5- Books and Documents

• Pack books flat to protect their spines

• DO NOT overload

• DO NOT pack fragile items in the same box with books
