When the child begins walking his first steps the mother is filled of joy… and if there is any delay, felling frighten and anxiety is filled instead, especially if preceded by another child walking in the same age … and start wondering….
* What is the appropriate age for walking? .. And when to have medical advice?
* What about the reasons for the delay in walking?
* How do you avoid the mother-child from injury brittle bone disease??
Age babies walk
The appropriate Age child begins to walk is from 12 to 14 months, and if it were delayed, there should be medical advice .
In the vast majority of delays in walking, osteomalacia (Osteomalacia is the softening of the bones due to defective bone mineralization) is the main reason… it is known that mother’s milk and all dairy animal milk used as food substitute, did not contain a suitable amount of vitamin (d), which plays the main role in the hardness of bones of the child, so it is necessary to give the child a daily dose of vitamin A of 400 IU starting from the third month of age, even for brittle bone disease not affected, and which lead to the delay of the emergence of the deciduous teeth (milky teeth)which begin to appear with the sixth month of age,and cause further delays in the child as standing and his ability to walk in a timely manner.
Osteomalacia causes some changes in the bones of the child (skull, chest, sides, and can cause swelling of the abdomen and the back arched), and if not diagnosed and treated in time could cause the curvature of the legs .
And abnormalities of the growing bones of the child which cause later psychological effect on the child and his family, especially if it was a girl.
There are other reasons for delayed walking in children suffering from genetic diseases like a( Down syndrome) .
Or metabolic disease and other rare disease which cause the slow growth of brain cells and other rare problems happen as well.
