St. John Spring/Summer 2012 Ready-to-Wear Collection

St.John is one of the most famous American brands that emerged 50 years ago and still in the top of fashion designs in the world. St. John fashion design has its own character that distinguishes it from other fashion models; it contains a diversity chic collection of dresses, suits, sportswear and eveningwear . Versatile knitwear is really what characterizes the latest St.John spring collection. Though, the spring is the season of showing bright colors for many designers, but the creative designer and director of St.John fashion line, George Sharp, stayed away from bright colors in the spring collection this year, he uses a neutral palette of blush, steel gray, and white in his designs without concentrating on the trendy, look-at-me kind of clothing that will get you noticed by street-style photographers. At the spring presentation at New York Fashion week, the ever stylish model turned singer Karen Elson told George Sharp that the long, clingy knit gown that Caroline Winberg was wearing was “the sexiest dress I’ve ever seen, even though it doesn’t show an inch of skin.” The dress was cut from a stretchy fabric with pearlized sequins flattened down for a slight sheen .
