The DKNY Resort 2014 Collection is an acquired taste, with sometimes-awkward looking combinations that come off with a quirky taste. The collection does have its bright moments with colorful, desirable looks; however the majority of the collection features several black and white, quirky creations. The gold, bowtie dress, which has black spaghetti straps, is complete with black, lace-up boots. The look is stylish and adorable. The blue, slinky, high-low dress, hangs off of one shoulder, and is splendid with one long sleeve and a diagonally cut hem. The look is bright, sexy, and fun.
The silver trench coat with the black lining has a wonderful and unique assortment of zippers and buttons. The look is eye-catching and trendy, as metallic fashion is becoming a common sight. The black, form-fitting, party dress has great contour lines and is very flirty as the dress has a sheer top and the short skirt features large ruffles. The drawstring sweatpants and the sheer blouse with the dress jacket, stand out among a quirky mix of sporty looks, crossed with glamour. The look exhibits careful planning and a wonderful blending of style. While much of the collection is an acquired taste, there a few finds in the DKNY Resort Collection that are mainstream and delightful.
