Have you ever wondered why some people are more successful than others? Have you ever asked yourself why some people seem to be doing the same job, but one is so much more successful than the other? Often this can be seen in the field of sales, where two salesmen can be selling the same products, but one is twice as successful as the other. The reason why often boils down to saying the right thing at the right time, and also knowing exactly what the right thing to say is. We all have a way of saying something, and we all have a way of describing something. However we also all have a different way of saying things. It is almost the glass half full versus glass half full scenario. Where I might say “It’s a bit cloudy today, but at least it is warm”, you might say “The weather’s lousy today, it’s nowhere near as sunny as yesterday. Can you see the difference the way something is put can subtly but effectively change the meaning.

It is also a remarkably clever promotional video as it is very emotive. After watching this we are sure that each and every one of you will go away and think about something you wrote or said, and wonder if things might have been different if you had written it or said it in a different way. The video may be demonstrating the power of words, but there is also another very strong message here, and that is the power of the video to get a message over! Now that is something you can’t argue against…..
