Tracy Reese Spring 2012 Ready-to-Wear Collection

Tracy Reese showcased her new Spring/Summer 2012 runway collection at the Lincoln Center tents Tracy Reese, inspired by the land of pure delight, nature, sky, clouds and the ocean, the collection was focusing on dresses with a feminine romantic look yet a sporty feel was incorporated. Color palette was vibrant neons, muted khakis, coral, pastel blues and pearl white. Fabrics also seemed serene with the use of lace, prints, gauzy silken linens. Colors and fabrics added a modern and a bit bohemian feel to the looks. Looks included a patchwork of hothouse botanical motifs with side buttons, pencil skirt in tweed teamed with neck sweater; a neon crepe knit swimsuit and a bright pink romper and a long pearl palazzo jumpsuit. Also the collection had some dresses with a mid calf length floral prints spaghetti strip with an open back as well as drapey jerseys, lace and crepes furnished with laced edged anoraks in techno-fabrics, loose henleys, leather jackets and cardigans. Many looks relied on delicate floral motifs among which lace shorts and matching fly-away blouses, lean lines in skirts and some dresses.
