During Milan fashion week, Vivienne Westwood has revealed her fall / winter 2012 menswear collection. When you take a look at that collection, you can get that Westwood has taken a cue from the Arctic region! That’s why the collection has been full of cozy & warmy, yet stylish and up-to-date menswear. The designer has relied on using very elegant and warm combinations of colors like; black, brown and different tones of gray. Besides that, the designer has relied on using the cozy and easy-to-wear fabrics like; denim, mohair, velvet and leather. By now, you’ve known the sort of colors & fabrics that the designer used, what about the main hits of the collection?! So, let’s get deeper to discover them! One of the most cozy and elegant items that the collection has presented is the coats. The collection has included fur coats, leather coats which have been padded with fur and voluminous shearling coats. Besides the coats, the collection has included various styles of jackets like; tuxedo jackets, denim jackets, leather jackets, belted explorer jackets and lean puffer jackets which have come in very creative and stylish looks. Westwood has also presented sweaters with hoods and knitted sweaters. Concerning the knitted sweaters, the designer has been creative in presenting some sweaters which have came in the ripped look and those ones have very stylish and unique looks. Besides all the last mentioned items, the collection has also included velvet suits with turtleneck sweaters and the British-style checkered suits.
